OUR STORY

Pow Wow by Sugar Cane Cannabis is deeply rooted in Indigenous communities' rich history and connection with cannabis. For centuries, cannabis has been used for medicinal, spiritual, and cultural purposes by Indigenous people. This sacred plant has been passed down through generations, playing a vital role in our culture and way of life.

As a proudly Indigenous-owned brand, we give back to our community. A portion of all profits goes towards supporting Indigenous organizations and initiatives, fostering positive change in our communities, and empowering our people.

We are honoured to share our story and culture through Pow Wow Cannabis, as it allows us to celebrate the power and potential of cannabis while working towards a brighter future for all nations. We invite you to join us on this journey as we honour our past, contribute to our present, and build a better tomorrow for Indigenous communities and beyond.

FIRST NATION OWNED BY
WILLIAMS LAKE FIRST NATION

Wholly owned by the Williams Lake First Nation (WLFN), Sugar Cane Cannabis is a testament to WLFN's vision of producing the highest-quality, small-batch craft cannabis and making it available to customers directly from the facility where it's grown.

Our journey began in 2020 by constructing our breathtaking 7,000-square-foot purpose-built facility. In 2022, construction was completed, and Sugar Cane Cannabis proudly received its micro-cultivation license. Our facility boasts state-of-the-art cultivation techniques, an industry-leading grow team, and a spectacular boutique retail outlet offering a truly curated cannabis experience for our customers.

Nestled in the heart of Secwepemc Territory, Sugar Cane Cannabis is located in Williams Lake, British Columbia, approximately three hours north of Kamloops and two hours south of Prince George. We are excited to welcome you to our facility and to share our passion for exceptional, small-batch craft cannabis with you.
